Too young to die. RIP Marco.

 

He was doing so well, moving up the ladder in MotoGP. Pretty rare to have a death in that series. But they go so crazy fast in MotoGP, one of the best racing series on the planet IMO. Hopefully will remain a rare occurrence. Didn't see it happen, not that I want to either. Usually have those races on my PVR, so might skip that one.

I may not pay attention to that series, or any motorcycle racing sanctions, but it's still sad to hear a fellow racer paid the ultimate price to do what he loves the most (or second most in some cases).

This is the first I've heard of this. Its stunning to hear. He's been doing so well in recent times and was a young rider. RIP.

Wheldon last week Simoncelli this week. Hopefully thats the end of this streak.

The accident looks very freak to me. Like he was stuck in the cornering position and still cornering when the other riders hit him. Did his left hand come off the bars or something. He was behind the peg on the right and under the tank.

R.I.P. to an incredibly talented young racer.

 

He lowsided and tried to save the bike by using his knee. He almost succeeded but was hit and run over by Edwards and Rossi. Very talented young rider who would have surely won a grand prix or two had he survived. RIP Marco.
