91 Accord Ex hard cold starting/ missfire
hello, i have a 91 Accord Ex auto. been havin problems with cold starts in the morning and throughout the day. the vehicle has 178000 on the tach and lookin to get a couple yrs outta of it before i rebuild and turbo for my son. Car is kinda wierd or stubborn cause some days its fine other days almost seems like it dropped a cylinder. been noticing since been getting colder here in northeast car has been doin it more often. when started in the morning it misses really bad and will only start and stay running if u keep foot on gas and keep rpm above 2000 for about 4 min and then will idle and run perfect. also been giving problems with startup after warmed up. so far i swapped out injectors, clean IAC valve , removed and clean throttle body, replaced wires, plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter. fuel pressure is about 40psi on startup and only drops to 32 while running. all injectors r workin properly and have continous spark from coil to all cylinders. any feed back would be greatly helpfull. and no check engine light or codes present while happening either.
Assume no stored codes, like the ECT (code 6 I think)...this is the one for the ECU not the ones for the fans or temp gauge.
FITV...adjusted
Compression test-does it seem to turn over slow first thing in the morning.

ya no codes at all that is what has me puzzled and ya compression is within spec and actually considering mileage is dam close. cylinder 1: 180, cylinder 2: 178, cylinder 3: 176, cylinder 4: 173
i check compression both at operating temperature and ice cold about a 10 percent differance. i am a gm master tech and in gm vehicles that is acceptable but not sure on imports.
So no possible head gasket leak when cold....that is where I was going with the slow crank when cold-water/coolant does not compress well.
Check the FITV for proper adjustmet, air boost valve cleaning can't hurt.
Rare but I have seen where the ECT can be bad/out of spec and not set a code.
