Default Transmission help

Hey guys,

im kind of new to the site so bare with me. I have a 1998 honda accord automatic that i accidentally put into reverse while going 65 down the freeway. I am able to drive the car, but wen i put it into reverse, the car grinds and doesnt move. Im pretty sure i blew my revese gear, but maybe by the will of god, i didnt and i can replace a less expensive part. Thnx

by the time you tear it apart....might as well rebuild it or just get a rebuilt one, used one....I'm willing to bet there are little pieces of metal floating around in there now.
