obd1 manifold swap reving issue's
i just did an obd1 intake manifold swap on my obd0 da9,it idles fine and runs perfect until about 5k then just dies out and doesn't rev any further.all gaskets were replaced i'm using the newer fuel rail and obd1 throttle body but with the stock map sensor with a vacuum from the back of the manifold to the stock map sensor on the firewall.i don't know what it is and i would appreciate the advice.
thanks
thanks
Throwing any codes? Check the ecu right when u start the car, and after driving it a lil bit. See if any codes pop up.
I would suggest using the obd1 map sensor as ive seen it gets a better reading and either extend the map wires, or trace them back and put em through the opposite side of the firewall so you wont have to do any cuttling and soldering.
Then connect the other sensors next to the old map, to the intake mani where u had the map sensor vaccum plugged into.
Hope i made some sence
