Greetings all,

Recently purchased a 99 Accord 4cyl F23A1 that's clocked >150k miles. It DOES NOT have the oil in coolant issue.

I've read all the info I can find on the internet about this issue (mostly scant and speculative) and was wondering if anyone here might know more.

As I understand, for cars sold in the US, the F23A1 engine could have been made in North America or Japan. Was wondering if anyone that has seen a few of these cases has noticed if it occurred in both North American and Japan made engines or in one and not the other?
