top-most dizzy mount cracked
on the f22b HEAD...not the dizzy itself.
i was replacing the dizzy seals per the writeup in the FAQ section and when i went to remount the dizzy to the head i torqued the top head-post thing right off!
the other 2 dizzy mounts are secure, and the car runs like it should but theres a slight vibration in the dizzy now that might be unsafe at WOT?
can i JB weld that post back on to the head and be done with this? there are no internal parts exposed as a result of the break.
i will post pics here in a couple of minutes.
the good news is i def fixed my oil leak! any info you guys can provide would be helpful.

hasty google image search and windows paint job...that is the piece that cracked off the head...the bolts at the base of that piece are still in tact.
i will have actual pics in a moment.
so the question is: can i JBWELD this piece

back on to this point of the cyl head?

hard to tell in the pics, but the surfaces that would mate back up have a rough texture and they fit back together relatively cleanly.

Sounds like you may have had the distributor shaft 180 off. When you go to tq the distributor back on make sure the shaft is lined up/oriented properly to the cam (@ TDC) or it will do this again! JB weld or not.
JB weld is a band-aide fix IMO! Cheap but not always 100% reliable.
