EM1: swapped tranny to gsr, car doesnt start; HELP PLEASE! :(
Hey everyone, i swapped the S4 tranny that came in my em1 to a gsr tranny(s80). I did it without pulling the motor, so just pulled the tranny. Install went well but now the car doesnt start.
The motor was perfectly healthy before changing the tranny but now it sounds like it's ran out of gas and doesnt start, although there's a half tank of gas.
It started once and stayed on but when i revved it up it died and hasnt' been able to start again.
As far as I know there's only one ground that i took off, which is the one the one that bolts on the frame to the side. Am i missing anything??
It's getting spark, there's fuel pressure, starter is new, ignition coil is new. I dont know what else to troubleshoot other than a ground issue.

well you must not have spark, pull a plug wire and put a plug in it then hold it to a bolt on the engine crank the car and see if it sparks. if not, it could be a lot of things wiring wise.
the vehicle cranks but doesn't start.
well i'd start by examining your harness, obviously the only common denominator is your handywork, it's relatively simple to pinch a wire or damage a plug when pulling a transmission in your driveway. 99% of the time it's something you did, so take a careful look at ALL the wiring looms and look for signs of knicking and such, MIL on?
Y don't u try changing out ur distributor cause I didn't change out my tranny but it sound like the same problem I had with my em1 and after everything it turned out to b my distributor.
