Wow, my timing belt tensioner snapped off, including chunks of the block. The block where the tensioner was attached looks under engineered. Has anyone ever encountered this? Looks to be beyond repair. Is it time for a new block? Or engine?
(And of course this is one week after finishing a slow monster-refresh on the suspension, swaybar, bushings, brake system and steering rack. Just when I thought I'd be able to have some fun with the car it bends me over. I'm deflated man, and funds are low.)
Suggestions and or condolences are welcome.

I have seen this on here a few times... sometimes it can be welded back together. Depends in exactly how it broke. So either that or get a new block and be on your way. That's life, stuff happens to everyone.
