Hey all,
It's time to upgrade my suspension on my del sol as it has more than 150k on it, I've seen some nice deals on skunk2 struts and springs beside other things, I've been thinking on putting some nice enkei 17' rims, but I would like to see how del sol looks on 17's and what is your setup suspension wise.
I'm not using this car for racing purposes nor probably will (not sure yet), this is my daily driver and so far it has never let me down, so its time to show it some love.

17" rims on a del Sol will not make for a pleasant daily driver.

Get some 15"s and be happy.

 

I get tramlining alot but you can run slammed and not hit too much which is a bonus.

My Flush Sol. Sometimes they look HUGE but other times it pulls them off.

 

I always wondered what those two little sticks are by the front wheel? I love the sol btw!

as for 17s get them man everyone is soo scared to run 17s like it is a sin. you can get alot more tire choices in 17. but they are right 17's daily is not for the faint of hart neither is 16s with a 205-40-16 tire to me anyway.

 

Not quite 17's but my wheels get mistaken for 17's all the time.

Wheel Specs: 16x7.5
Tire Specs: 205-40-16

Suspension Specs: Some junk Lo-tek struts, with Neuspeed springs.

can't believe the ish i got when i asked for pics of an eg with 17's smh... whow the hell comes up with "17 are tooo bigggg" and rota is fake wheels ect.. most people who drive our cars can't afford to buy name brand wheels and why would you with these cars being stolen. But i bet the same people also have a replica parts on their cars.

build your car for you been in this game for over 10yrs and i will always go for the better deal where ever i can within reason. bet somone has an ipod full of "replica music" wonder if that is real music. rant done more pics of some Sols or EGs if you have them

 

Save money, get 15s or 16s which will have a better ride, they'll be cheaper and you have a lot more choice than 17s if you don't have a 5 lug conversion (trust me, I know, it's a pain in the *** finding 17" wheels with 4x100 lug pattern for my EP3).

 

17inch 4x100 are easy as hell to find.

 

Not easy enough for me lol I wish I could still run 15s without them looking like skateboard wheels
