Competition Clutch Torque Rating
Competition rates their clutch by percentages. Is that just a percentage of the stock rating or a percentage over the stock allowance. Say I'm using a stage 5 clutch and the stock of a gsr's wheel torque is 115. 115 x 300% is 345ft lbs or is it 115 + 300% which is 460 ft lbs?
I have cleared by the companies that competition's numbers are wheel torque while spec clutches base their numbers off of flywheel torque. Beware!!

Thanks for the info. One last question. You rate your stage 5 at 300% torque
capacity. So with say 115 ft lbs stock would that equate to 345 ft lbs or is
it 300% over stock and would it be 460 ft lbs?
Answer from Competition:
Correct. 460ft lbs for a rough estimate of the holding capacity.
Now supposedly thats 460ft lbs of wheel torque and not flywheel torque. FYI
