No they didn't.

Put the OG tails and bumper back on and it's legit. Don't know what the LOL is about. Clean car. I'd buy it. Perfect track b!tch.

It's cars like these on the market that's bringing down the values of low-mileage clean title ones which is sad. But, nonetheless, it's good to see them "alive".

^^ exactly. Try getting a loan for 14k for a 97 with a salvaged title.

I don't think you understood my post. If you re-read it I stated that it's "ones like these" meaning theft recoveries that are bringing down the value of clean titled low mileage ones. There have been a few around the country that have popped up recently that have salvage titles and low mileage for under $15k. I have seen 2 clean titled ITR's go for $16k with under 40k miles as of late. If this was a year ago those cars would easily brought in closer to $18k or around $18k.

"perfect" low mileage R, haha.

Not sure who would come within 5000 feet of that car.

There's nothing wrong with the car from an R standpoint, but $15k for a salvage title? Good luck. 97s only go for that price of they are 1) stock 2) low miles 3) clean title 4) all vins match.

Other than that, this car is nice enough to buy for maybe $10k?

I'd buy this R, not for 15k but all it REALLY needs is the rear bumper and wheels

Looking at the Autocheck, looks like a bad rear ender, I do not think stolen, chances are the bill was more than insurance wanted to pay, so paid off original owner and then wound up salvaged and then resold, then rebuilt. Prob the reason for not having orig wheels, rear etc.

I hate rear enders, what are the chances of no trunk leaks, and noise from the rear??? 15 grand.......some sucker will buy it.

Badge number -00509. I thought they didn't make over 500 R's in 97.
