I just installed the skunk2 intake manifold and when I took it for a test drive it seemed to have more power at take off but when the vtech hit it seemed to bog a little and after a few seconds it would start to pull. Does anyone know what it could be. I tried to adjust timing but that didn't work. When I had the stock intake manifold on it was fine and pulling hard when the vtech would hit. Help me.

 

I think it might be because you don't have secondary anymore, not totally positive, but that might be it

 

yupp. its your skunk2 manifold. i think its also your not getting enough fuel too you need to chip your ecu to release enough fuel. skunk2 manifold is bigger than your stock. its pushing in more air.. which means you gonna need more fuel. also.. secondary butterfly.. so it'll pop vtec right. gotta get that ecu chipped

 

You need a tune!

 

i think your problem is because you have VTECH.
