Default 1998 Honda Accord V6: Bumpy when braking

Occasionally, the brakes feel bumpy when I'm applying them. It only happens when I'm going a considerable speed (freeway) and then slowly braking (like slowing down for the off-ramp or something). It doesn't happen when I'm going slow, or when I'm braking hard.

I've researched and a lot of people say it's ABS, but it really doesn't feel normal (I'm not very knowledgeable though). Could it be warped rotors? How do I tell for sure?

good way to tell if its warped rotors is just go outside and if you can reach in and grab on the rotors and run your hands along them you would be able to feel the distortion. other than that my Accord has the same problem and its not the engine size lol.

If you feel this "bumpy" in the steering wheel (it jerks from side to side), the problem is with your front brake rotors.
If you feel this "bumpy" in the seat of your pants and it feels like the car's surging forwards and back, the problem is with your rear rotors (V6 have RR Discs standard)
At parking lot speeds, if the car feels like a fat lady shaking her booty the you've got a tire with a broken belt.

Hope this helps

They feel smooth to me, perhaps I'm not sure what I'm feeling for?

Definitely not side to side, and it's fine at parking lot speed. I guess it's more of a front to back, but I would say it's kind of like a skidding feel.

So if I continue to drive like this, will there be any detrimental effects? Is this an urgent thing I need to worry about?
