Honda Civic Putts Along!
Hi there,
Im new here and duno where to post this so i found the closest thing i could find, I have a 1990 (I Think (; ) honda civic sedan. dual carb. And quite often it "Putts" and goes no where. i could be driving normally and it just starts. or i can be given it s*&t and it does it. usually happens under pressure but sometimes it does it no matter what. any idea's? I checked vacuum lines. The brake pedal sometimes used to just hit the floor and do nothing. hasnt done that for about 9 months tho. do u think my booster may be to blame? i bought the car off a mate who changed the fuel pump, intake gasket, etc all because it did it. but never fixed it. any help would be much loved!
thanks

Sounds more like possible tune up/ carb adjustment is needed. Even though a brake booster failure can cause engine runability issues, the brakes would get stiffer and not softer.
