MS 1991 Chevy S-10 2.8L V6 5 spd $3300 OBO
1991 Chevrolet S-10
2.8L V6
5 spd manual
223K miles
$3300 Or Best Offer
VIN#: 1GCCS14R2M830127
This is was my daily driver for 3 years has been in the family for the past ten years. Wife upgraded to a van and I'm switching to her SUV.
This truck RUNS PERFECT! Doesn't leak oil! I always get complements on how smooth it runs. I do mechanic work on the side so this truck stays maintained.
Would love to keep it but have too many cars now.
Will not haggle price over the phone.
NOTE: The primer'ed fender in the photos will be painted this week.
The good:
-BRAND NEW Uniroyal Tigerpaws AWPII tires (I don't believe in cheap tires)
-Rebuilt the front suspension so the truck could have a PROPER alignment
-New Upper and lower ball joints
-New upper and lower Suspension bushings
-Alignment was done by a local s-10 fanatic on a Hunter laser alignment system. Drives like a new truck
-New Summit Racing Speedometer
--http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G28187-10/
-Alpine CDA9811 CD player with AUX input (can plug an Ipod or Cellphone in)
-Pioneer 4x6 In the dash Stock 4x10 in the rear
-Sliding rear glass
-Windshield was replaced this summer by Vernable Glass in Ridgeland.
-Oil changed every 3k miles and Valvoline 10w-30 and 1/2qt of STP has been used for the past 3 years
-Gets 18-19 MPG around town and 25+MPG on the HWY (If you keep it at 60mph)
-Oil pressure always stays 40psi+ (Usually sit's at 60psi while driving)
-A/C WORKS! (It's R134a in an R12 system so on really hot days it will keep you cool but not cold)
-Heat works
-You could drive this truck to California right now!
The bad:
- The driver's side Window can pop out of the track if you don't help it down.
-You can still roll it down you just have to help it with the other hand. This is a common problem of S-10's of this age
-The problem is the rubber is deteriorating and doesn't hold the glass in place. you can buy a door rubber kit online for about $120 to redo all the rubber on BOTH doors
-The Bench Seat could be re-Upholstered (My guss-tamate to redo it would be $150-$300) (I have a Benchseat cover on it now.)
-No tachometer
-Some dings and scratches.
