hey guys my buddy just picked up his first ed9 yes ed9 its the 91 si crx the car is completely stock other than the radio and some idiot painted the og rims black but somehow the sunroof its stuck open on one side and the other side is closed and the sunroof wont open either it will just tilt so any suggestions why its like that we are gonna have to take off the head liner and check the sunroof but if anyone knows why its like that the info would be appreciated thanks

 

Sometimes the side clips break/come out of groove... You are just going to have to take it apart and see exactly what is going on.

also the regulator cable and motor gears are infamous for rusting out and then everything just slips instead of drawing the panel open closed.

open the sunroof all the way with the motor, then have a buddy carefully push assist the sunroof closed while also running the motor in the closing direction.

 

There should be a manual spot to open and close it too on the headliner, try that also....
