Does every block have to be stamped on the block if it's sleeved? I kno people who have sleeved blocks by darton and other people and the block is stamped. I have a motor from someone who said it was aebs sleeved I have recites but didn't open the block I'm cool with the guy but just making sure does aebs not stamp their blocks like others? Thanks

Only way to not get scammed is to pop off the head (oil pan if you have awsome eyes) or put it in writing. Take pics of the serial number or VIN, have a notary public notarize the documents, then pay him the cash.

Not every sleeved block is stamped, it's up to the company who did it. Joe Schmoe Machining could have done it for someone for all you know.
