i just installed a megan 2 piece header on my bros 02 rsx-s and it leaks between header and downpipe. is there supposed to be some kind of gasket? i read something about a donut gasket or something. idk please help
Yes, correct there is a donut gasket. Depending on the header will be the size of the gasket I believe. Look on clubep3 site for one. Or you he could have gotten a kidd racing header and it would came with both of the gaskets.

my bro stopped on the way home and ordered the autozone one and something else called pipe packing or something, any idea of what that is?
Sounds like some upsale to me. Never heard of pipe packing. All you need is that donut gasket and the exhaust manifold gasket. If you have a bigger outlet to the header and a inlet on the midpipe then there might be a problem with that donut gasket since it will be made to be used for the stock exhaust which has a smaller diameter.
