Default White or Black gloss steelies?

I'm considering painting my winter steelies as right now they've got some nasty rust bubbles on them. I'll be using real paint (a single stage urethane enamel over epoxy primer or DTM surfacer) so the gloss will be significant. What do you think?
My car is that honda green (it's a 98 civic LX, stock height and staying that way.) I'm thinking white may clash with the green and that I'd ought to go black. Curious as to your opinions however.

Sorry, but this is from the Forum Rules and FAQ:
6b. No opinion threads for the appearance of wheels.
Examples:
"Which wheel will look better on my car?"
"What color wheels should I get?"
This type of question is more suited for the Appearance/Cosmetic forums (or possibly even GDD).
