Default Automatic H22 tranny question

I bought an automatic jdm H22 tranny ( I was told it was an H22 tranny by the seller) and I was wondering if there was a way to tell if it was an actual H22 tranny by either the vin or how it looks, because I don't know if there's any differences cosmetically from an H22 tranny or an F22 tranny.

Thanks in advance guys!

That tranny is in fact was mated to an H22. MP0A is an H22 tranny.

Does anybody know if the MP0A is a direct replacement for an M6HA? I have a 98 Prelude with a slipping M6HA auto and have a line on a good MP0A trans. I know it will bolt up but don't know about any wiring, hard lines, etc.
Thanks

I would assume since the trans came from a car using a tcu and your is using a tcu then the connections would be similar. Im not really sure. I can say that when you swap a trans make sure the trans you are putting in is from a similar setup. Most civics didn't use a tcu and preludes did. I think you see where i am coming from here.

Well it's allegedly out of a 97 Prelude but I can't say for sure.
