OBD0 and TurboEdit 3.2.2 - My 90 CRX and OBD0 B18A1
So im going to keep a little log of the things i do with TurboEdit 3.2.2 and my OBD0 CRX.
I got the CRX as a gift from my great girlfriend. I love her to death! Even more than I love the CRX (hard to believe? i know... lol)
The car came with a B18A1, 100% stock. Im a SOHC to the death guy, but hey, its free... so what the hell.
Anyways i wanted to tinker with TE again since its FREE and i used to use it years back with a boosted SOHC i had. i beat on that thing for 3 years with turboedit, and i loved the program then.
Well since then its come a LONG way.
for instance now there is IAT corrections, ECT corrections, gear corrections, limiter by gear, CEL options, built in datalogging with the ECUControl plugin.
Its come a long way!!
the car

desoldering the PR4 ecu

all chipped and datalogged ready. (all you need to do to chip OBD0 ecu's is find one with a 28 pin chip, desolder it, solder in a datalog header, and ur done!!)

Im going to pick up my wideband from a friend, and my det can, and i can start manipulating the fueling maps.
as for now, i made some changes to the timing maps as the stock PR4 maps are GARBAGE.
heres a stock PR4 OBD0 map

heres a quick snap shot of an improved map. ive been running on this for 2 days, its great. the RPM and load cells are slightly offset but the motor is happy how it is now.

in my next update ill show some features of TurboEdit 3.2.2 off so you can see the cool and free things that are possible with OBD0!
If you want to download TE head over to http://forum.pgmfi.org - create a username and head down to the TurboEdit Development forum and download away!

Sweet, good to see some love for Turboedit still alive. I will be using the new TE to tune my mini-me vitara build in a couple weeks. Can't wait to use all the new features.
