Icon6 flashing "S" light.

Greetings,
I just picked up a '90 accord ex. The "s" light starts flashing when I shift into gear. I just replaced the VSS. Alas it did not remedy the problem. Do I need reset the TSU somehow or does it mean the VSS I got from the wreckers is buggered too?
Thx

There was a manufacturing issue (quality control) on the TCU's installed on this generation Honda's which cause this complaint. The Capacitors utilized tend to fail. This can be confirmed by inspecting the motherboard's can capacitors and look for leakage. If you should fall prey of this malady, nothing short of replacing the TCU will do. :-(
