When I swap the transmission on my 1997 Accord will I need to put a new cooler on it or will it be OK to hook it to the old one? Also what all am I going to need to replace as I am getting a transmission off of a wrecked 97 Accord to replace it.

 

A new cooler isn't required unless it's been damaged from impact or corrosion. I would (however) suggest that if you're going to reuse your original - that you have it flushed. A competent radiator shop can do that for you.

B4 you install the "New to You" transmission; I would suggest that you have the external seals replaced b4 you install it.
Torque Converter seal
Axle seals
etc.

You don't want to have to pull this thing back out 5 months from now because something started messing itself :-)
