skunk front camber kit noises?
I just installed a skunk camber kit for my fronts.. (integra) ,, now I;m hearing all sorts of squeaking and some little clanking that weren't there before.. Should i worry about these sounds... did i just forget to lube something?
anybody??
anybody??
i have the same thing sitting in my trunk waiting to get installed. Jsut haven't found the time. Do i really need to go out and buy a torque wrench for this install??? The clanking could be it hitting the top of the fender well. I've heard of this happening to people wit camber kits, but i can't be sure if its true of the skunk2 kits.

squeaking is something you have to deal with. it won't squake at first but after a while it'll come.
i tried penetrating oil and it didn't work, so i just go used to it =P

white lithium grease works wonders. not the spray can, but the goo'ey kind
about the squeaking noise you have, does it sometimes sound like metal to metal grinding lightly?
i installed the Skunk2 camber kit this week and i am having issues with it. I know for certain everything was torqued down really good. can't figure out what the problem is. might have to start lubing it up down there

not necessarily. many people have had great success with the Skunk2 camber kit as opposed to the Ingalls. I am pretty sure the noise i am experiencing is simply my lack of lubricating the ball joint that was supplied with the Skunk2 camber kit. I am going to lube it today and hopefully that will do the trick. As far as the kit slipping and all that BS you can always use better (or different bolts) with lock washers and that thing WILL not slip. Just food for thought. It really is a great piece.
