holy ****!!! $6,800 for a stock civic??? damn...that's a little much even with the stereo system in it...does it even have a clean title? suspension setup? mileage? i've seen 2.0L motor setups sell for LESS...of course that's in here in socal...i don't really know how much hatchback goes for outside socal...good luck...

you blind or something??? did you look under the hood??? it's a ******* SOHC!!! he even riced it out with white ******* PAINT!!! if he's squeezing nos on that thing then he'd be speeding...i don't even understand how you can speed with that stock motor...

i shouldn't be knocking peeps rides...i was out of line earlier...i found a new ding on my car after i cleaned it...just got me upset...i shouldn't be so picky on hatchbacks...i've got one myself with the stock motor still in it...it'll be gone though by end of next week....hopefully...

 

as someone who was recently active in the car market, I would think you would be more receptive to the notion of respecting others' financial decisions on a most basic level.

Sorry my car wasn't good enough for all of you out there, but i know what i paid for it and what was spent on it since then , so when i add it up i know what i need to get for it to not lose money. I know its not worth 6800, but thats why the magic words O.B.O are there. People always will try and jew me down to a different price. Then when they do I'll be getting the price i want. If you dont like it, then dont buy it. Its that easy. You dont need to be spouting off about what you think...

 

yea, dude, maybe this is ur first time trying to sell something, but u wil never get what you paid for. From what i see:

Exterior: rims/tires, projectors, clear corners, is that a straight pipe w/a tip?? mesh grill

Suspension: for $6800, better be a full coilover set-up

Engine: Short Ram intake, wires....

Interior: system, and tach

Now for $6800, this car should have like 36k miles, and about $1500 in the glovebox

 

ok , well i know im pretty sure i cant sell it to people like you who know all about imports and yada yada yada,....but to some kid who wants a civic and whos parents are gonna pay for it, i know for a fact i can. My brother sold his POS crx to a kid for 6k, it just had a body kit and stereo. So it can be done. Im not looking for 6800. but by the time people dicker with price ill get about what i want.

Sorry, you wouldnt get this **** if you didnt ask an outrageous price. i would never have gotton into it except i am looking for a hatchback and i have seen 13 second ones for 7500. You need to get on NADA and look up you book price that is about all you will get. You cant add up everythoing over time that you ahve spent on your car like every penny you spen on gas and oil changes and seel your car for that cause that is what YOU paid for it. OK that enough of this im not out to make an enemy but maybe you can try to sell it for this price but i dont think anyone wil buy it unless you get some dumb 16 year old boy to buy it... IT COULD HAPPEN

this is a great way to welcome someone to H-T.com

i'm not going to flame. the body/paint looks to be in good shape. plus, that color is the best the 5th gen civics came in. on top of that, 5th gen hatches that a "stock" are getting VERY hard to come by.

so, in my opinion, you are going to be better off selling the stereo and returning the car back to stock. modded civics (and cars in general) do not sell. just my $.02.... good luck with the sale

for some perspective, i sold a 95 dx in january this year with 63k original miles, mostly stock and mint body for $5800
