Default head unit install question

I'm planning on changing out my OEM head unit with an Alpine CDA7894, but i need to buy that little pocket that goes under the radio, my question is do i need to get those little brackets (number 10 in illustration) to make it stay in place? And does anybody know if anybody has better prices than this website?

go buy an aftermarket dash kist, available at like any car audio place

buy it from crutchfield...they come with instructions, dash kit, wire kit, and for a limited time shipping is 3 bux
