Default 2000 Accord EX HESITATION

Help Please I have a 2000 Accord with 210K and lately it has a hesitation. If I hold the gas @ 3k rpm it will just drop back to idle while gas pedal is still depressed. When driving it will loose power to I have to pull over cause it's like the gas pedal is not working ?? My daughter drives it and said while turning around she pushed gas pedal and the car don't go .. it doesnt stall it just does not respond to the throttle ?? Any help apprecited if anyone has had the same problem. Transmission ??? weird that it does what it wants ??
Codes P0170 came up and P0171 and P1457 ? I just want the motor to go when the gas is depressed ?? THANKS ...Need a Honda Expert on this one. I have 3 other hondas never had this problem ??

I'm going to repost a prior response of mine. It was an interesting problem .... and it could apply here as well.

This car would act as tho someone had temporarily disconnected the accelerator - it was that prominent :-(

I would have a scanner hooked up to the data port and specifically watch the voltage from the Primary O2 sensor.
I had a customer's car which ran absolutely GREAT when first started; but within 2.5 to 4.0 minutes of running would stop responding to throttle inputs, would run 'flat' and almost backfire out the TB and would require pulling over. The surprising and more than a little aggravating was the fact that after 2 minutes or so - it would clear up and run great until (again) we started up from ambient temps ... and off to the races we would go again.
What was happening was this: As the O2 sensor heated up, it developed an intermittant short between the power feed side to the signal side of the sensor. This (in effect) fed an unusually high voltage back to the computer (which interpreted this as a super-rich condition at the exhaust). Being the Good computer it was, it commander the injectors to lean WAY out - thus the flat spot and no power. As the O2 sensor continued to heat up, the internal short corrected and the sensor operated normally.
The computer didn't set a code because the voltages were present / uninterupted - just out-of-range.
have the Primary O2 sensor checked.

Dr. Adams, Sound advice it is I just replaced the 02 sensor on the pre cat 01 Bank 1 I think and the car runs fine. NO HESITATION after driving for hours stop and go. The accelerartion is stella and the codes are GONE. Thanks again for your assistance and Happy Holiday Season to you I'm very grateful for your advice.
