EK 1.6Vtec low rpm sputter
As the title says, I have a new egr and distributor. These are my codes: p0303, p0301, p0300, p1399(pending).
When I first got the car it sputtered constantly at lower rpms, but only after the car has been driven for a while. Like warm up time. I changed the fuel filter and it feels and sounds a lot better, however it still sputtered after a while of driving but not as constant. When I looked at the old filter the excess gas came out brown. I assumed that was not good. Anyone have any ideas to help me out here?

Bad fuel filter can definitely cause this. Replace that first.
Your codes are all misfire codes. P1399 is the random misfire code.
I would replace your spark plug wires, check the condition of your plugs. You say you have a new distributor, which I'm guessing you replaced the cap as well so that is likely not a problem. Plug wires can go bad and cause misfire. Also, are you sure you put the plug wires back on in the correct order? Not doing so will cause misfire and the engine to run rough.

Thx, ill try and check the spark plugs and change the wires tomorrow. I just got the car, but the fuel filter did change the performance of the issue. But didn't fully delete the issue.
you didnt give enough info about the car i am assuming it is a HX since you mentioned an EGR Valve unless youre in europe or japan which than you do actually have a an EK
Checked wires and changed plugs. The wrong part number for NGKs were in the engine. Still misfires though, and only misfires when engine reaches normal operating temp. I'm not throwing a code for EGR but I'm gonna check to see if its clogged. Is that possible considering I'm not throwing a EGR code?
