f22 a/t transmission for f20b
Hi guys,
I have an f20b a/t but the transmission si jerking and shifting hard. I went to the shop to replace it with another transmission but they only have f22 a/t transmission left would this work for me?

mudpuppy4life he said F20B, not C.
Hard to say. Best guess is the F20 would have lower gear ratios than a F22 simply because the smaller engine would need lower gears for torque multiplication to move the heavier car.
My only concern with using a H22 transmission is the torque converter may have a slightly higher than desired stall speed. Would it be noticeable, dunno.
The Odyssey F series trans has similar, if not same, gear ratios as the H series transmission. But comes with a larger torque converter for a lower stall speed.
Measure your F20s TC and drive plate bolt pattern diameters. There are at least two different sizes I know of. If the transmission you pickup has a different diameter TC make sure you also get the driveplate that fits it.
*BTW which F20B do you have SOHC or DOHC? If its the DOHC then use the H22 transmission.
