Need some help. When my car is cold it starts up and runs fine but once it warms up it starts idling rough and stalls in first, second and third. Once its in fourth and fifth it runs okay. Also when its stalls out it makes a gasping sound and when you try starting it back up it takes several attempts. The motor is a b18b1 and has new plugs and wires about a month old. Need help and every suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Car is a 95 GS-R. Motor is the ob2 b18b1 and its stock internally. It has a fuel rail, intake, exhaust but other than that the motor is stock. I took the dist cap off and just got that and the rotor button because it looked crappy. I took the ignition coil off and the control module and took it to autozone and had those tested and the ignition coil tested good but the module failed so im about to install that and see what happens but im waiting on the rain at the moment.

 

Fixed it! The culprit, bad ignition control module. Now I know what to look for if I get another honda and it starts acting up. It sucks to have to fix stuff but thats an easy way to learn.
