My passenger door opens hard and I wanted to adjust my door handle rod joint. I had the door panel off but couldn't get the rod off. What is the correct procedior to remove it.
The car is a 1991 honda accord 2dr

 

You can try to pry it out with a flat head screwdriver or diagonal cutter (you're not cutting it, just using the cutter to pry it out). Good luck. You might want to wear some eye protection and gloves just in case.

 

Ok I have removed it and adjusted the joint but if I have 2 threads like is says it won't even open. But It still opens hard. Dies it have to do with the seals on the door? Does anyone know how to fix this?

 

My door seal is what was making my door stick. I sprayed it with wd-40 and it opens a lot better.
