Default New Honda Driver, need ideas

I just got a purple 93 civic coupe.

So far what Ive put on:
  • spoon frontlip kit
  • fog lights
  • JDM corner lights
  • 8k HIDs

Im new to Hondas, so im just wanting some ideas. Im not up for a swap yet seeing as I just installed a new motor from already blowing the first one.

So I'm just wanting some tips like some trustable websites where I can get legit parts.
I've had enough of the flaming so just hold it back. I'm not posting this so people can tell me what to put on it, I'm just wanting some ideas since I'm kinda new to this.

probably gonna cover the big dent in the front bumper with a jdm license plate or something lol

when I first bought it

rota's and drag's are popular rims. check them out
as far as struts/shocks: tokico blue and whites are good.
one-piece coilovers are nice. check out skunk2 one pieces
skunk2 has some pretty decent coilovers as well. just do a little research. you can find plenty of information on good/bad coilovers/struts. it's everywhere.
and yeah i was gonna say something about covering that dent. you can get a license plate holder that angles your license plate down. just a cheap kind of different thing to do to your car to make it unique.

Before you get flammed here. I strongly suggest that:

1. Read the rules of this forum because you already violated one. (no tech info)
2. Browse the internet and the HT community
3. Use HT search engine because im pretty sure that all the questions you will ask for has been already answered. (I can already see 2 of them)

I'm sorry to tell you all this and i'm not trying to be a jerk but that's really how it works. We are not here to tell you what to put on your car... You do what you like and that's all. And you might be surprised but here is not the place for that kind of things you are asking for.

Also please don't stick to "JDM stuff". The world have a lot more to offer than "JDM". Just keep it simple.

Have fun!

I made the thread to get ideas of what I should do to my car seeing as im new to this. and im the one who says what goes on my car not anyone else so it doesnt matter what people say, if i like what they suggest then sure i might go for it. but its not like im asking people to tell me what to put on my car. and if i want to stick to jdm then thats me. but it doesnt necessarily mean i want JUST JDM stuff.

Sooo, should we tell you what to put on your car? Or not? I'm confused.
FYI you put "JDM Style" stuff on your car. I can guarantee none of that is from Japan.

I don't know. I've never seen anyone fix up a Civic before. I don't know if there is anything out there.
If you're strictly sticking with "JDM" all you have to do is go to Ebay and type in JDM style. Then buy everything that pops up.
Jeez. There's the whole Appearance forum to browse through WITHOUT having to post useless threads like this one. At LEAST a decade of trends to absorb and imitate.

TBH this thread is like walking into a library and asking "Where are the books?"

Are your foglights stamped with Stanley?

What brand is that lip? eBay special?

Are those corners Vision? or eBay special as well?

Don't expect NOT to get flamed. YOu came in here wanting to "hook up" your car and then tell people you aren't getting rid of your cheap Ebay stuff. Why bother posting at all?

if its already bought im not just gonna trash it dumb ***.. i dont just throw money away like that. yeah maybe in the future ill buy different ones. but right now im fine. The corner lights ARE Vison corner lights, and i can prove it if youd like. I didnt really care about the fog lights and lip kit because I didnt have the money to pay twice the amount for officiall ones

If it's fake and YOU bought it you ALREADY threw away money trying to floss "JDM style" on the cheap. No one is going to take you seriously now. Give it up. If you don't have the money then keep it stock. Cars are expensive hobbies when done right.

No offense, but I'd ignore 99.9% of this. You'll slot yourself in as a "JDM knock-off fanboy" pretty quickly.

I already told you to get everything off of Ebay marked "JDM Style" to keep the theme going or leave it stock until you can afford it. You already said that you don't have the money to afford the legit articles.

Here's my advice, IF you're on a budget.

Rota's/Konigs are decent looking wheels. Drag's are like, knock off's of knock off's. GT3's, Grids, and Flashbacks are WAAYYYY too played out. Everyone has those.

Ditch the eBay lip, and get a Wings West lip. Yeah it's not $50, but it looks a hell of a lot better. Either that or an EX lip.

Suspension. Don't get Skunk 2. Function Form is one of the best budget one piece coil overs I've seen. Usually around $600. Don't cheap out on suspension.

I think my stuff looks fine with my car though. but i havnt done much to it yet so I guess I should pay more attention to whats a knock off and not so that people like grumblemarc dont come trolling arouund.
