2006 MDX Fuel Economy
Has anyone actually installed the Ridgeline K&N Intake setup into their MDXs? I am curious how it would fit?
On the intake there are two tubes (one on the top and one of the bottom) extending off of the intake pipe. I do not know what the purpose of these are but they must have some kind of negative effective on air flow. Has anyone blocked them off or replace the intake with a straight tube? Any results?
I enjoy the luxury and quietness of my MDX but would like to see some improvements in fuel economy. Other than standard maintenance what have people done to improve the fuel ecomony.
-Extend the overall diamater or exhaust piping
-delete a muffler with a straight through design
-Computer changes?
-Timing changes
Has anyone done these types of changes with results. I have searched numerous places and most people that have the 2006 have not made many changes.
