Its got a ton of mugen stuff on it...once its running again (next week sometime) I'll give you guys a full low down, and more pics.

Has some rust, but nothing that cant be fixed, dont know whats wrong with the engine yet...pulling it tomorrow. Mike spent lots o' money at King motorsports though!!

thats a lot of carbon buildup. looks like that motor has been worked also looks like it ran to hot nitro would result in blown rings seals gaskets etc. but that combustion chamber looks like it had its *** kicked

 

i would blueprint all the stuff that looks useable out of the D16, especially the cam and valves, and put it in your old D16. king motorsports built anything is going to be nuts. i would love to help if you need anything.

Car will be finished next weekend...Out of town mon-thurs. Any other ideas on the head? Were going to put my old d16 in and then swap out the head if its still good. I dont think the bottom end had any work done. I'll keep you posted.

Sorry man it is a WI car so its got a bit of rust that needs to be taken care of...But all the Mugen bushings make up for it ..heh

king motorsports motors blowing up???? sounds like they weren't taken care of or were tuned by someone other than king.

 

My friend Ben is looking at the head at his shop this week...Ill give you guys the lowdown when I get back.
