Cold start issue???
car does not like to start (bogs and barely starts) when the engine is cold, after its been driven it will start right up or even after its been running for only like 5 minutes it will fire right up
car is a crx with sohc zc swapped in , completely stock otherwise
anyone else have difficulties with orginally carbed sohc zc starting will cold
no CEL codes
checked the temp sensor and air intake temp sensor resistance (hot and cold) is right on the mark
fuel pressure is good and consistant
injectors just got professionally cleaned
timing is spot on for stock si (tho i do know carbed zc cam timing is slightly different than stock si)
new plugs and plug wires
any suggestions peeps???

Start with the basics? How does your cap, rotor, wires, plugs, air/ fuel filter, ect look... The engine runs it's richest when you do a cold start-up... so either it's getting too much fuel, not enough air, weak spark, or timing is off...
well...
cap and rotor looked good when i checked the distributor is brand new, but they arent OEM
spark plug wires were replaced a year ago, checked resistance and it was good
air filter and fuel filter are both brand new replaced them a month ago
ect resistance is perfect but going to check voltage at the ecu when i get a chance
injectors got cleaned which helped a stumble problem at idle but not the cold start
spark plugs are brand new and gapped correctly
and double checked cam and ignition timing both spot on
wondering if it could just be a wiring problem the car is an 88 the wires have probably seen better days
