K-noob!
I've made so few posts here so my knowledge isn't very well known. I've built several B Series cars, all boosted. I know the ins and outs, ups and downs of B and D engines. One of which ran 35lb of boost and spent under 6K including buying the car and piecing together the turbo set up.
I've decided it's time to venture into the land of K! I'm a welder/machinist by trade and just happen to LOVE Honda.
Anyways, I've got a build in mind but for the knowledge i'm looking we'll keep this extremely simple. The 2005 Honda Element makes 160bhp. The 2005-06 RSX Type S makes 210. Can I swap motor and ECU into the awd element with the 5 speed transmission?
I can the the RSX engine out of the junk yard. My build is far more in depth than just this, but for now this is what I need to know. My only reason for asking is that the element being AWD I'm worried that I'm going to run into conflict with the ECU. Lastly the Immobilizer. Will I have to buy the key and ignition out of the Type S as well, or will the key and ignition out of the Element work with the immobilizer from the Type S ecu. Lastly, will the ECU even plug in? Lol. I haven't had much time to be able to get to the yard to check to in depth.
Basically I'm wondering if I'm stuck just building the Element motor, or is it feasible to start with a higher HP platform.

Sorry if this came out as chicken scratch, I just got off work and its time for dinner so I rushed through it before I had to deal with the higher ups. (The old lady) lol

You can run Kpro. So you are wanting to take out the K24 completely and run a K20z1?
Is your element already a 5spd?

Yes and yes. In all honesty I'm not planning on doing anything aside from swapping the motors with one another. Have a awd k20. I'm really having hopes that I can just plug the ECU in and it will be fine. I'm sure it can be gotten past but I like the idea of the immobilizer in this project.
