Im in the process of sleeving a k20z3 block, I already have a fully built k20a2 head ported. Will the k20a2 head directly bolt on to k20z3 block? Does it have the same head gasket?

 

I've been told on k20a.org to use the same head gasket at the head. I'm in the process of doing a killer vtec with a k24a1 head on a k20a3 block with type-s internals.

 

Thanks I just slaped my head on with je piston and carrillo h beam rods. Hopefully my k24 swap will be sleeved. Has anyone ever bought a sleeved block from ERL, AND has anyone hit 800+ hp on a ERL sleeved block?

yes it has been done....i would get cp pistons instead of je tho

 

Now I feel like a jackass. I follow through with the head gasket with AFH and from what AFH (AutoFair Honda) from k20a.org , they told me to use the gasket that's for the block. I just there words over the guy that posted on my thread about the head swaps.
