Year you bought it: 2011
Price: $9499
Gen/year: 5g/2001
Model: SE
Condition you bought it in: Everything is absolutely perfect, like it just rolled off the assembly line. Had two previous owners, both were older men, and they both kept a full running log that dates back to when the first guy bought it brand new. Fully stock, nothing has been touched, just maintained. You can literally eat off the engine bay its so clean.
Motor when bought: H22A4 DOHC Vtec
Tranny when bought: Manual 5sp

I'm picking it up from the dealership this afternoon. When I get it, I'm doing nothing to it but taking care of it.

It was supposed to be a timing belt/water pump trans swap.......and ended up getting a lot of hand-me-down parts from the other Lude. I got sick of losing money selling used parts, and didn't see a point in storing them.
By the time I was done, it was more of a back-up track-day car than a DD
JDM H22A+trans+CM Stage3 clutch+S2S1 Cams+Vibrant header+Greddy exhaust+Koni/Eibach+VTEC brackets/rotors+SS lines+4bidden shifter+Dyno time

Pretty sure I bought mine in 2002

Price: $4500

142K miles stock H23a1 Si

180K a truck pulled on the road in front of me, time for the c/f hood, jdm lights etc.

182K wife driving to school, spun a main bearing and overheated and cracked the crank, swapped in a JDM H22A

205K built my H23 VTEC, swapped it on for the summer along with the M2B4 trans, killed it with a 100 shot in 2500 miles, mostly driven at the track. Swapping my H22A back in, and gonna save to build for boost.

I think I am gonna rebuild My H23 VTEC this winter, but set the ring gap higher for dedicated nitrous use. Our local track is closed for good as of next week, so I will have very limited chances to race the next few years, so my big boost build can take time. In the meantime, having a build that cost under 600 bucks so far and goes like snot is fun.

Bought it in 98, it was an 97 model with less than 20k miles on it.
Paid 20k for it. Put a turbo on it a year after I got it

Traded a kid my VW passat POS for it, I had traded my 3000gt for the VW and my 98 Benz for the 3000.... I only paid 1500 bucks for the BEnz with 90K miles... I would say I came out ahead
