Hey everyone, this is my first post here, I appreciate every and any replies.

I recently bought a EF9 STD and whenever the car is running, and i press the brake, the door chime goes off. its quite irritating. please help. thanks.

no kidding. no one has heard that one before. lol.

 

just remove the 15v fuse for interior/dome light it'll be gone until you find the bad wiring

 

The door chime wire is in the driver kick panel, and the brake wire is above the brake pedal, so unless one is gounding out somewhere, that shouldnt happen

okay. i checked the fuses under the dash and the interior lightings/clock fuse was blown, so i replaced it. turns out, that the actual door chime makes a different noise. it still made the beeping noise and it illuminated the door light on the cluster when stepped on the brake. so i cut the wires that was above the brake and it took the noise away.

how do i fix this? i know i need to reconnect the wire i cut, but i know that stupid irritating noise will come back. im stumped. thanks.
