Default 2000 civ looses power?

hi im somewhat new here account wise but ive been lurking around for a good while anyways...

I have a 2000 civic and i was just driving down the road and i loose all power i can give it gas the rpm moves a veerry small amound but not enough to move the car forward so i just roll to the side of the road. then i turn ed it off re started it went to krogers like 1 mile away got back on the road like half a mile and did it again.. so i restarted and made it home fine..

ive also had the problem where my care shakes violently and the exhaust sputtered out some when i had no converter so i got a new converter and the problem still exists and no check engine lights are on sorry for the big history here but if u can help id love you for it
