[B]As above i have the following codes that come on #1298 ELD Circuit Shows one time

#1457 shows 2 times, Any one know what this could be.(gas cap)

1298? I have No Idea , A.R.V Test shows Charging system works good

The codes were cleared a few days ago but only showed 1457 at that time
car seems to be running fine?

1457 is a long time problem. From what I have read there is a solenoid that allows vapor from the gas tank to vent to the iand give you that error codentake manifold. The connections to the solenoid may fail occasionaly. I took my '02 to the shop and they charged me $67 to reset the code, but they never fixed the problem. It won't affect engine performance, (I still get 42mpg), just reset it and go.

 

I've seen P1298 cause random codes to appear. Replace the ELD and the other code may go away. It's part number 38255-S5A-003. Ask for that specific part or they will try to get you to buy the entire fuse/relay box @ $250.
