Default Overheat/Coolant leak issue

i have a 91 crx si with LSV setup in the car..

just got the car bout 1 month or so ago.. and it had never overheat or leak coolant until now..

when i notice it i was driving to work and notice that my car started to overheat and saw smoke coming from my hood.. stop at a gas station and notice coolant sprayed at firewall and had coolant leak around the hoses and on the tranny..

bought coolant and it took the whole bottle to top it off.. and drove the rest of the way to work.. and i was able to get home just in time before it started to do it again..

got to looking at it afterwork.. put water in there and start up the car to see where the leak was coming from but could not find it.. car sat at idle and did not overheat what so ever.. but had smoke coming from somewhere.. turn off the car and can hear pressure coming out from somewhere..

so i changed both upper and lower hose and thermostat just to see if it fixed it.. and it didnt work.. it stop spraying over the place but i notice a drip coming for under the car around the tranny/block area after driving

there is no coolant in the oil or anything so idk if it could be headgasket or what not..

if anyone had an idea please help me out.. this is my only dd so i need to get it up and running.. thanks

check the hoses that connect to the intake manifold also check the hoses that go to the throttle body and idle air control valve.

i had this problem and it was o rings behind the thermostat housing. under the manifold theres a bypass tube from the water bump to the thermo housing. (FYI)

good luck

Yep i just looked at it and notice there was water running down the tranny from that area.. going to get the o rings for the housing and the gasket for the water
outlet and hopefully it works.. if not then ill be back on HT... thanks

Also.. would that problem be a reason for why my heat is not blowing hot air? notice my heat was not hot when this problem started

thats because heaters run off of radiator heat. therefore if theres a leak and low pressure (low heat)
