TDC piston?

TDC piston?

Hey guys how can you tell if number one piston is TDC (top dead center) without removing the head? Need help fast...thanks

Line up the crank pulley mark as well.

Both cam gears up marks pointing up.

Stick a screwdriver shaft down the spark plug hole.When that stops moving up you have TDC.

the crank pulley is always align because of that little pin right. i dont have to line things up to put the pulley on?

That will tell you when the piston is at the top of its travel, but it won't tell you if it's on the compression stroke or the exhaust stroke.
