Got my ride back -_-
got my 91 crx dx with my sohc zc in it... i didnt do the mpfi swap yet i didnt swap the tranny ecu or harness yet either.. but its still a hell of a lot faster then my old d15b haha.I raced a stock sohc zc in a crx with the complete swap (mpfi ecu and ect) and he beat me by about 4 cars when i had a bad launch... does mpfi and the ecu really make that big of a difference?!?! my question is.. how important is getting that stuff if i want my ride to be quick
it will make a big difference. I don't know if it will make your car 4 car lengths faster, but it is definately worth it!!! I'm willing to bet that you not that great of a driver if a driver of basically the same car with the same motor beat you by 4 cars especially with only the difference of MPFI!!! work on your driving skills and get MPFI and go spank him! hih
Dude, think of it like this, with exhaust and a ZC and a dx tranny and i raced my freind who had a hatch with a zc and si tranny and exhaust, and he beat me by 4 car lengths. I swapped trannies, and he still beat me but barely, only .3 faster, but he had intake and clutch also. So the SI tranny will make a huge difference, and the MPFI will make even more difference, there was no point in doing the swap if you werent gonna use the si tranny or zc tranny...
