Why are the fog lights for my one peice headlights permanently yellow? I switched to a piaa xtreme white plus bulb for the fogs and they are still yellow. I'm guessing my fog light housing is yellow? did the jdm one peice headlights come from the factory like this? and is there a way I can remove it? thanks

thats new news for me. I always got the yellow bulbs because I thought that was what made it yellow. Is there any point putting the piaa xtreme white bulbs there anyways then?

No I love my fogs, I just wanted to try a white bulb for the fog lights but it didnt work lol.

 

The lens which you insert the foglight into is permanently yellow, as designed.

 

theres a yellow capsule inside of the fog area on the DA 1 pieces stock. If you remove the lens/cover you can easily remove it. It looks clean with or without the capsule.

You have to bake your headlights. I think its 200 degrees for 10 minutes and a carefully/easily pry around the lens. and make sure when putting it back its all sealed nicely and not leaking.
Thats what i did when i cleaned my insides, after removing it you can throw a hid in there lol.
