Default hesitation/jerking d15b vtec

ok so i have been having issues with my 94 civic cx with jdm d15b vtec.. first off it would waste gas like no tommorrow.. it also would hesitate on take off between 2k-4k rpm as well as a huge loss of power. so i took it in to get the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner replaced at a professional repair shop. I pick up the car and everything seemed back to normal. The idle was way better and it drove good. But as soon as i drove it a few miles and turned the engine off for a couple hours and then started it up again i began to feel it hesitate on take off. ill take off from a light and it will jerk and jump but it does not shut off. it seems to only do it when its warmed up or it has been driven for a while. I asked the mechanic if it was jumped a tooth or 2 but he said everything lined up fine. so my guess it has to be something electrical/fuel. Do you guys think my fuel injectors or fpr is going out?? i changed the fuel filter about 5 or 6 months ago.. any advice would be great thanks!

I thought the p28 was for the d16z6? I didn't know you could use it on a smaller motor. Learn something new everyday!!!

the virgin P28 is the problem. Thats why your getting bad mileage. You need to get it chipped with a P08 basemap.
