the car is a 99 gsr sedan,pretty much stock just got an i/h/e

codes
54=fail safe relay-where is it located at?how to fix?or just replace?

61=ignition voltage?what do i need to do to fix this?

81=cpu-is it my ecu thats messed o=up?or does the abs system have its own ecu??and also where is this located if it does have its own

any help would be great thanks

 

I've got a 98' ls and I have the code 54 and code 81. I just ordered an ABS ecu (81) which is in the passenger rear quarter panel behind the plastic. The relay (54) is by the battery under the hood in a rectangular fuse box.

The parts will be here next week so hopefully I'll know if replacing those two items will make my ABS work agin.

Shoot me a PM in a week or so and I'll let you know how it works out. Hopefully a $50 fix.

 

thanks for the help...iv been searching but could never find where there location is at,just wondering where did you order your relay and abs ecu?.if it really doesnt cost me and arm and a leg to keep my abs then id rather keep it than ditch the whole system

 

ebay is where I bought the abs ecu. I'm going to borrow a relay from a good integra since it's easy to get to. If that fixes it i'll buy the relay on ebay as well. You can get the entire abs relay fuse box for under $20 with fuses and relays.
