95 h22a prelude new engine and new tranny now.

replaced:
tranny
clutch
flywheel
throw out bearing
fluids
axles

problem is it still makes horrible rattling type noises and hard to engage and get out of gears. when you press the clutch in the tranny is definitely making a ton of noise but when u let it out the engine is definitely knocking like the kids old h22 that spun a set of bearings. were completely lost now we dunno if the "new" tranny is shot like the old one or if something else is wrong.. im pritty sure his "new" engine's bottom is done though. any thoughts?

 

are the noises the same as when the old transmission was installed? hard to imagine that replacing all the things you listed would result in the same problems/noises unless there was nothing wrong with those components in the first place.

Seems like the replacement tranny would have come with a different shift fork.... did it or did you reuse it from the first tranny?
