My type R needed the head gasket replace. Me being new(again) to socal i needed a good shop to get the job done and done RIGHT!!! Sports Car Motion is who i found by SEARCHING honda tech. Not only have they been in a number of magazines lately for having a sick 98 R, a civic type R, and a k powerd eg, but they are a service oriented shop catering to the needs of there customers. Loi kept me up to date with progress, with pictures and time lines. They finished on time and took care of minor problems( hoses, thermostat, fan switch, and gaskets) with only charging me for parts keeping me within my budget. I know it sounds like i work for them, but i dont. It is hard to find anyone to turn your Type R keys over to, and anyone living in socal looking for a trust worthy shop check them out. I am a satisfied customer just giving all the socal R owners and good resource for all your R needs .
