need advice with my h 2.2 hydraulic tensioner on timing belt please!!!
ok this is what happen me and my friend are changing the timing belt on my 2001 Honda prelude and he's kinda of the old school mechanic and he had never seen a tensioner like this so he starts messing with it and breaks it and then the oil leaks out of it omg but he works for a company that works and makes hydraulic systems so he took it to work and says he fixed it and now he wants to put it back in.... Is this a good idea please honest answers ?

Buy a new one, will come compressed with the auto tensioner bracket ready to install. Next time don't be so careless with something that is very sensitive to the engine.
